Berlin Poster

My Girlfriend and I were taking a short break in Berlin when she spotted the above building, commenting that it was "the prettiest building" she'd seen. I was only equipped with my 50mm Lens, so was only able to capture the top part of the building, but I took a sneaky snap nevertheless in order to produce an illustration for her birthday.

This took about 10 hours to illustrate, many layers, gradients & blend modes went into this 100MB AI file.

Only downside to this project is the fact that whenever my girlfriend and I go on holiday the comment "look how pretty that building is" appears, and an illustration is expected a few months later ...
